Study finds late c-sections raise risk of early birth in later pregnancies

A new study has found that women who have caesarean births at an advanced stage of labour are eight times more likely to experience scarring that increases the risk of premature births in future pregnancies.

Researchers from University College London say this is likely due to scarring in the womb, which can increase the risk of early labour.
